law-lib

Verbatim Texas law, provenance-tagged, agent-readable.

This is a JavaScript-free mirror of Texas (and selected federal) primary law, served as plain Markdown — one file per chapter, article, rule, or section. Every file carries its source_url, sha256, and fetched_at. It is built primarily for AI agents that fetch law by URL.

manifest.json topics.json codes.json llms.txt

An LLM agent can answer “what Texas law applies to X” with no server: fetch /index/topics.json (an AI-generated navigation aid, not legal text), reason about which chapter's questions_answered / summary / issue_tags match, then fetch that chapter's .json or .md for the verbatim text. Structured JSON is available alongside every chapter at <chapter>.json.
